Andy Chen vs Uang Tao

Boxing Daily Report from the Sultan's Fists promoted show at Amjad Haider Gym, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 28/03/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andy Chen (9 - 6 - 3) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Uang Tao(5 - 12 - 3) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Chen and Tao weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bob Fai, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Kew, Jun Shyu and Chris Ip.  

Round 1: 

Chen feints a right hook, and then connects with a left uppercut.  
Chen steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Tao steps inside.  Chen attempts to land a right hook, but Tao slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Chen lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tao is on target with a left hook.  
Chen tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Chen switches the action to the outside.  Tao lands an overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chen's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Chen advances into close range and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Tao advances into close range.  As Chen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tao dabs at his face checking for damage.
