Kai Maddex vs Florimond Van Bambeke

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Alexandra Palace, London,  taking place on 27/04/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are The Throne-Breaker Kai Maddex (58(13) - 6(2)) who hails from Leicester, UK and Florimond Van Bambeke(16 - 13 - 3) from Bruges, Belgium.  Maddex weighed in at 147 pounds, while Van Bambeke weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Patterson, and the three ringside judges are Eddie Cour, John Zakaszewski and Owen Evans.  

Round 1: 

Maddex steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Maddex attempts to land a right hook, but Van Bambeke parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Van Bambeke steps away from his opponent.  Maddex feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maddex steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Maddex hits home with a solid left hook.  
Van Bambeke switches the action to the outside.  Maddex feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Maddex is looking to close the distance and drives a right uppercut into Van Bambeke's ribcage.  
Van Bambeke steps away from his opponent.  Maddex feints a left hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Maddex lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING VAN BAMBEKE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Maddex forces Van Bambeke to back into the corner.  Maddex knows Van Bambeke is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Maddex slams a mean right uppercut into Van Bambeke's body.  VAN BAMBEKE IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Van Bambeke now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Van Bambeke is looking to keep his distance.  Maddex lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Maddex pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Maddex hits home with a left hook.  
Maddex digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Van Bambeke tries to step out of his opponents range.  Maddex lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Maddex lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Maddex forces Van Bambeke to back into a corner.  Maddex lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Maddex ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Maddex pushes his forearm into Van Bambeke's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Maddex about fouling.  
Maddex digs in a left uppercut to Van Bambeke's body.  
Maddex lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Maddex whips in a DEVASTATING right uppercut to his opponents body.  VAN BAMBEKE IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Maddex!
