Colin Orem vs Ian Bruce

Boxing Daily Report from the Greedy Promotions promoted show at Raven Gym, Macon,  taking place on 19/04/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Colin Orem (9(5) - 0) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Ian Bruce(8 - 12(1) - 4) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Orem and Bruce weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jonathan Bonnar, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Walker, Paul Orem and Arnie Curtis.  

Round 1: 

Orem steps inside.  Orem is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Orem lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Bruce steps away from his opponent.  Orem lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Orem drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Orem steps inside.  Orem tries to land a right uppercut, but Bruce blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Orem is looking to close the distance.  Orem sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  Bruce wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Orem has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
