Khalid Daoud vs Khalon Ankole

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Aanyu, Lira,  taking place on 04/04/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalid Daoud (24(22) - 20(17)) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Khalon Ankole(27 - 11(8) - 1) from Lira, Uganda.  Both Daoud and Ankole weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chiamaka Mugasa, and the three ringside judges are Keshawn Drito, Greg Kibaki and Ricky Ssekimwanyi.  

Round 1: 

Daoud is looking to close the distance.  Ankole sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ankole attempts to land a right hook, but Daoud sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Daoud lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Ankole lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Ankole tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ankole connects with a right hook.  
Ankole attempts to land a cross, but Daoud sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Daoud lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Ankole throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Daoud closes the distance.  Ankole pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Daoud tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Daoud advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Daoud attempts to land a left hook, but Ankole slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Daoud walks Ankole into the blue corner.  Ankole attempts to land a right hook, but Daoud parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Daoud sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Daoud stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Daoud lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND ANKOLE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Daoud steps to the outside.  Daoud connects with a HUGE left hook.  DOWN GOES ANKOLE!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Ankole now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Daoud lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Daoud is looking to close the distance.  Daoud lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ankole recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Daoud tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Daoud lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Daoud lands with a hard jab.  
Daoud gets on the inside and SLAMS a DEVASTATING right hook into his opponents face.  ANKOLE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE ANKOLE CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Daoud!
