Kenzie Winnie vs David Humphreys

Boxing Daily Report from the Awere Promotions promoted show at Jordan Tear Gym, Louisville,  taking place on 06/04/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenzie Winnie (5 - 0) who hails from Louisville, USA and David Humphreys(16 - 11 - 5) from Louisville, USA.  Winnie weighed in at 154 pounds, while Humphreys weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Roger Crombie, and the three ringside judges are Ian Buist, Michael Harkins and Michael Harkins.  

Round 1: 

Winnie is looking to close the distance.  Winnie pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Winnie throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Winnie gets on the inside and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Winnie lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Humphreys digs in a right uppercut to Winnie's body.  
Winnie is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Winnie gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Winnie advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Winnie manouvers Humphreys into the red corner.  Winnie attempts to land a left uppercut, but Humphreys blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Humphreys is looking to keep his distance.  Winnie hits home with a cross.  
Winnie gets on the inside.  Humphreys sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Winnie digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Winnie drives a powerful left uppercut into Humphreys's body.  HUMPHREYS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Winnie holds on to his opponent.  Winnie uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Humphreys behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Winnie.  Humphreys almost instantly recovers. 
Humphreys is on target with a left hook.  
Winnie connects with a stinging left hook.  
Winnie lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Winnie walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Winnie lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Winnie lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Winnie digs in a left hook to Humphreys's ribs.  
Winnie lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Winnie cuts off the ring, trapping Humphreys in a corner.  Winnie is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Winnie is on target with a left uppercut to Humphreys's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Humphreys's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Humphreys's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Humphreys's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Winnie is looking to close the distance.  Humphreys pivots to the right of his opponent.  Winnie lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Humphreys recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Humphreys hits home with a left hook.  
Winnie lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Winnie holds on to his opponent.  Winnie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Humphreys throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Winnie time to recover.  
Humphreys quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Humphreys throws a left hook, but Winnie ties up his opponent.  Winnie pushes his forearm into Humphreys's face.  The ref breaks Winnie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Winnie lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Winnie walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Winnie whips in a big right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE HUMPHREYS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Humphreys quickly recovers. 
Winnie lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Humphreys throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Winnie hits home with a left hook.  
Humphreys walks Winnie onto the ropes.  Winnie digs in a right hook to Humphreys's body.  
Humphreys pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Winnie's body.  
Winnie digs in a solid left hook to Humphreys's body.  
Winnie closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Humphreys throws a right hook, but Winnie ties up his opponent.  Winnie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Humphreys is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Winnie is on target with a jab.  
Winnie finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Winnie closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.
