Oscar Haxton vs Bart Lyons

Boxing Daily Report from the Goldie Bunzworth promoted show at Aviator Sky Mezzanine, New York City,  taking place on 08/04/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oscar Haxton (20(6) - 2) who hails from New York City, USA and Bart Lyons(16 - 20(2) - 1) from New York City, USA.  Both Haxton and Lyons weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brad Moad, and the three ringside judges are Sean Jackson, Bryn Ritchie and Bryan Webb.  

Round 1: 

Haxton closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Lyons's body.  
Haxton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Haxton gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Haxton closes the distance.  Haxton is on target with a left hook.  As Lyons tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Haxton dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Haxton sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Haxton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lyons almost instantly recovers. 
Haxton lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Haxton throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Haxton lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Haxton hits home with a solid left hook.  
Lyons steps away from his opponent.  Haxton is on target with a stinging overhand left.  
Haxton lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Lyons tries to keep the action at long range.  Haxton is on target with a jab.  
Haxton gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Haxton is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lyons is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Haxton finds the target with a jab.  
Haxton gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Haxton drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Haxton closes the distance.  Haxton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Haxton gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lyons is looking to keep his distance.  Haxton lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lyons's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Lyons's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Haxton advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook to Lyons's ribs.  Haxton ties up his opponent.  Haxton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Haxton attempts to land a right uppercut, but Lyons blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lyons is looking to keep his distance.  Haxton is on target with a cross.  
Haxton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Haxton connects with a firm left hook.  Haxton throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Haxton lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS LYONS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Lyons almost instantly recovers.

Haxton is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Lyons switches the action to the outside.  Haxton is on target with a cross.  
Haxton cuts off the ring, trapping Lyons on the ropes.  Lyons throws a right hook, but Haxton clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Haxton pushes his forearm into Lyons's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Haxton drives a left uppercut into Lyons's liver.  
Haxton is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Haxton holds on to his opponent.  Haxton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Haxton about fouling.  
Haxton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lyons's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Lyons's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Haxton thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Lyons away.  Haxton whips in a DEVASTATING right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  LYONS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Haxton!
