Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Kampala Nakitanda, Kampala,  taking place on 14/04/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ollie Hersi (4 - 10(1) - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Obaid Ali(23(8) - 10(3)) from Gulu, Uganda.  Hersi weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces, while Ali weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Naeem Kabuye, and the three ringside judges are Mark Moses, Asif Youssef and Robert Kabukuru.  

Round 1: 

Ali is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Ali gets on the inside and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Ali lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.

Ali digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hersi is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Ali advances into close range and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Ali lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Hersi now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Ali cuts off the ring, trapping Hersi in a corner.  Ali sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hersi attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ali sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ali lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ali connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Ali pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Ali connects with a right hook.  
Hersi is looking to keep his distance.  Hersi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Ali lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ali forces Hersi to retreat onto the ropes.  Ali lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ali is looking to keep his distance.  Hersi connects with an overhand right.

Ali feints a jab, tricking Hersi into launching a left uppercut counter.  Ali avoids the shot and counters with a stinging cross.
