Mel Dowie vs Malcolm Eason

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Oliver Benichou Gym, Edmonton,  taking place on 17/04/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Dowie (4 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Malcolm Eason(15 - 20(1) - 5) from Edmonton, Canada.  Dowie weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces, while Eason weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Haddow, and the three ringside judges are Joe Dinwiddie, Paul Belan and Rob Spade.  

Round 1: 

Eason is on target with a jab.  
Dowie steps away from his opponent.  Eason lands an overhand left.
