Beau Noury vs Varocher Biyik

Boxing Daily Report from the Hamidou Promotions promoted show at Garoua Mveng, Garoua,  taking place on 19/04/2041:

Clearly Hamidou Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Beau Noury (9 - 22 - 4) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Varocher Biyik(5 - 5(1) - 1) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Noury and Biyik weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michel Ekwe, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Kamgaing, Chivalry Oyono and Emmanuel Biyik.  

Round 1: 

Biyik closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Biyik throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Biyik's body.  
Noury tries to step out of his opponents range.  Biyik sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Noury is on target with a jab.  
Biyik is on target with a cross to Noury's body.  
Biyik throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Biyik gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Noury steps to the outside.  Biyik sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Noury tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Noury's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Biyik's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
