Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 08/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Denton the Hitman McClelland (35(35) - 0 - 1) who hails from Syracuse, USA and Alejandro Serpico Serpe(31(22) - 13(11) - 1) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Both McClelland and Serpe weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ashley Nesmith, and the three ringside judges are Noah Rankin, Blake Green and Mark Cardozo.  

Round 1: 

McClelland sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Serpe attempts to land a cross, but McClelland sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

McClelland is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Serpe manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Serpe lands a firm cross.  
McClelland is on target with a jab.  
McClelland lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Serpe recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

McClelland steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Serpe sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Serpe gets on the inside.  McClelland lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Serpe recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Serpe gets on the inside.  Serpe pivots to the right of his opponent.  Serpe throws a left hook, but McClelland holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Serpe pushes his forearm into McClelland's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Serpe about fouling.  
Serpe throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
McClelland is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a BRUTAL overhand left.  SERPE IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
McClelland hits home with a cross.  
Serpe throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
McClelland lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McClelland lands a solid jab.  
Serpe steps inside and forces McClelland to back into the ropes.  Serpe throws a right hook, but McClelland ties up his opponent.  Serpe is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. McClelland is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns McClelland and breaks the clinch.  
McClelland lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McClelland's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Serpe's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Serpe's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

McClelland steps to the outside and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS SERPE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Serpe recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McClelland EXPLODES a FEROCIOUS cross into his opponents face.  SERPE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
McClelland tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Serpe almost instantly gets his legs back. 
McClelland lands a DESTRUCTIVE cross.  SERPE IS HURT!  
Serpe walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Some sustained pressure from McClelland could be enough to finish Serpe!  McClelland lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING SERPE DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is McClelland!
