Stephen Callacghan vs Michael McPhail

Boxing Daily Report from the Western Promotions promoted show at Western Gym International, Liverpool,  taking place on 08/04/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Stephen Callacghan (4(4) - 0) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Michael McPhail(5 - 8 - 2) from London, UK.  Callacghan weighed in at 147 pounds, while McPhail weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Boduch, and the three ringside judges are Nick Monahan, James MacDuff and Ryan Wilde.  

Round 1: 

Callacghan advances into close range and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Callacghan holds on to his opponent.  Callacghan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Callacghan to stop fouling.  
McPhail throws a right uppercut, but Callacghan clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Callacghan is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Callacghan ties up his opponent.  Callacghan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Callacghan gets on the inside.  McPhail throws a right hook, but Callacghan clinches his opponent.  Callacghan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Callacghan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Callacghan lands a right uppercut.  Callacghan ties up his opponent.  Callacghan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Callacghan digs in a stinging left hook to McPhail's ribs.  
Callacghan hits home with a left uppercut.

Callacghan connects with a VICIOUS cross.  MCPHAIL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  McPhail recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Callacghan gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  McPhail quickly recovers.

Callacghan is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.
