Irfan Ghanem vs Haider Akbar

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at KLCC Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 09/05/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Federal Territory Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Astro Arena, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Irfan Ghanem (13 - 16 - 7) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Haider Akbar(20 - 4(2)) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Ghanem weighed in at 122 pounds, while Akbar weighed in at 121 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Mohammed, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Baten, Gazi Sinai and Haaris Aziz.  

Round 1: 

Ghanem throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
