Shin Konishi vs Yuji Sugawara

Boxing Daily Report from the Akrofi Promotions promoted show at Saitama Nishikawa, Saitama,  taking place on 01/05/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shin Konishi (11 - 11 - 3) who hails from Tokorozawa, Japan and Yuji Sugawara(9(2) - 1) from Kawagoe, Japan.  Konishi weighed in at 175 pounds, while Sugawara weighed in at 174 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kenji Nishi, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Tengan, Takeshi Fuse and Ryuu Kamiya.  

Round 1: 

Sugawara advances into close range and drives a left hook into Konishi's ribs.  
Sugawara pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sugawara lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Sugawara manages to force Konishi into a corner.  Sugawara lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Sugawara wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Konishi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sugawara steps away from his opponent.  Sugawara feints a left hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sugawara closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Konishi is looking to close the distance.  Sugawara drives a left hook into Konishi's body.  
Sugawara lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  As Konishi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Sugawara has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Sugawara is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Konishi closes the distance.  Sugawara sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Konishi goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Sugawara to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Konishi and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.
