Declan Weems vs John Cairns

Boxing Daily Report from the Brock promoted show at RME Redstone Room, Davenport,  taking place on 06/05/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Iowa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Declan Weems (3 - 6 - 3) who hails from Davenport, USA and John Cairns(20 - 6 - 1) from Des Moines, USA.  Weems weighed in at 147 pounds, while Cairns weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vince Caven, and the three ringside judges are Rob Winning, Mike James and Charles Mains.
