Diego Martinez vs Fanuco Palomo

Boxing Daily Report from the Maphatsoe Promotions promoted show at Jerrold Oseguera Gym, El Alto,  taking place on 16/05/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-La Paz Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Martinez (5 - 10) who hails from El Alto, Bolivia and Fanuco Palomo(10 - 13(1) - 3) from El Alto, Bolivia.  Martinez weighed in at 154 pounds, while Palomo weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Ciprian, and the three ringside judges are Berto Rosales, Bronco Cossio and Angel Iniguez.  

Round 1: 

Martinez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Martinez throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Palomo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Palomo steps inside.  Martinez sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Palomo connects with a left hook.  Palomo throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Palomo steps inside and manages to force Martinez into the corner.  Martinez lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Palomo is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  
As Martinez tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Palomo.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
