Fraser Davidson vs Thomas Devlin

Boxing Daily Report from the Granite Promotions promoted show at Edinburgh Parry, Edinburgh,  taking place on 18/05/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fraser Davidson (8 - 11 - 1) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Thomas Devlin(2 - 6 - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Davidson weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while Devlin weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dennis McClung, and the three ringside judges are Peter MacLaughlin, Joseph Menelaws and Hamish McBeth.  

Round 1: 

Davidson connects with a right hook.

Devlin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Davidson is on target with a right hook to Devlin's ribcage.  
Devlin lands a firm cross.  
Davidson is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Devlin holds on to his opponent.  Davidson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Devlin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Davidson closes the distance.  As Davidson tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Devlin has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Davidson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Davidson attempts to land a right hook, but Devlin sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Devlin lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Devlin.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the left eye.  
Devlin lands a firm right uppercut.  Devlin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Devlin pushes his forearm into Davidson's face.  The referee warns Devlin and breaks the clinch.
