Michael Rorie vs Bryan Wiliams

Boxing Daily Report from the Alhassan Promotions promoted show at Perth Cochrane, Perth,  taking place on 18/05/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Rorie (5(2) - 0) who hails from Perth, Australia and Bryan Wiliams(10 - 24(6) - 3) from Perth, Australia.  Both Rorie and Wiliams weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave McPherson, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Trimble, Ian Fram and Joe Bath.  

Round 1: 

Rorie closes the distance and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Rorie connects with a firm cross.  
Rorie closes the distance and manouvers Wiliams into the blue corner.  Rorie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wiliams throws a left uppercut, but Rorie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Rorie pushes his forearm into Wiliams's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rorie lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rorie advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rorie closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Rorie ties up his opponent.  Rorie pushes his forearm into Wiliams's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rorie lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Rorie holds on to his opponent.  Rorie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rorie lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Wiliams almost instantly recovers. 
Rorie is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rorie lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Rorie clinches his opponent.  Rorie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rorie lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rorie lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rorie connects with a cross.  
Wiliams steps to the outside.  Wiliams quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rorie lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rorie gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Wiliams tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wiliams connects with a left hook.  
Rorie gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Rorie closes the distance.  Wiliams throws a right uppercut, but Rorie holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rorie pushes his forearm into Wiliams's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rorie.  
Rorie steps inside.  Wiliams throws a right uppercut, but Rorie clinches his opponent.  Rorie tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wiliams behind the head. Rorie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wiliams's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Wiliams's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Round 2: 

Rorie hits home with a left hook.  
Rorie closes the distance.  Wiliams pivots to the side of his opponent.  Wiliams throws a right hook, but Rorie clinches his opponent.  Rorie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Rorie uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Wiliams behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rorie lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Rorie forces Wiliams to retreat into a corner.  Rorie drives a stinging left uppercut into Wiliams's liver.  
Rorie digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Rorie drives a stinging cross into Wiliams's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE WILIAMS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Rorie advances into close range.  Rorie stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Rorie drives a powerful right hook into his opponents ribs.  WILIAMS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Wiliams now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Rorie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Rorie clinches his opponent.  Rorie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rorie lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
As Wiliams tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rorie dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Rorie.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Rorie closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rorie tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rorie steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Rorie pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rorie drives a sharp cross into Wiliams's body.  
Rorie is looking to close the distance.  Rorie lands a right hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  
Wiliams steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Rorie sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Rorie lands a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Wiliams's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Wiliams steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Rorie blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Rorie circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Wiliams throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Rorie hits home with a stinging cross.  
Rorie lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Rorie walks Wiliams down, trapping him in a corner.  Rorie lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Rorie lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Rorie holds on to his opponent.  Rorie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Rorie to stop holding.  
Rorie lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Rorie pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rorie pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS WILIAMS TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Wiliams recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rorie lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rorie EXPLODES a WICKED right uppercut into his opponents face.  WILIAMS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Rorie!
