Connor Reid vs John Burnett

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 01/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Connor Reid (3(3) - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and John Burnett(3 - 2 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Reid weighed in at 154 pounds, while Burnett weighed in at 152 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andy Sare, and the three ringside judges are Joel Glines, Mel Culp and Mark Sear.  

Round 1: 

Burnett sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Reid attempts to land a jab, but Burnett blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Burnett tries to step out of his opponents range.  Reid lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Burnett recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Reid senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Reid lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS BURNETT DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Burnett now seems to have got his legs back.

Reid lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Reid steps to the outside.  Reid knows Burnett is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Reid lands a cross, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING BURNETT TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Burnett is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Reid!
