Lucas Madoc vs Aidan Whalen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Wales promoted show at Cardiff Gwilym, Cardiff,  taking place on 22/05/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Wales Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lucas Madoc (14(9) - 3(2)) who hails from Swansea, UK and Aidan Whalen(13 - 5(3)) from Cardiff, UK.  Both Madoc and Whalen weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Griffith Batton, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carrick, Terry Lyons and Dan Malone.  

Round 1:

Whalen tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but Madoc sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Madoc switches the action to the outside.  Whalen feints a left hook, and then tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
