Dave Seff vs Fino Corado

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Williams Arena, Minneapolis,  taking place on 08/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Dave Seff (3(1) - 0) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Fino Corado(0 - 1(1)) from New York City, USA.  Seff weighed in at 126 pounds, while Corado weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Greg Pelle, and the three ringside judges are Greg Pelle, Phil Bertel and Stephen Quinn.  

Round 1: 

Seff steps inside.  Corado sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Corado throws a left hook, but Seff ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Seff pushes his forearm into Corado's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Seff about fouling.  
Corado attempts to land a jab, but Seff dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Seff steps inside and digs in a left hook to Corado's body.  
Seff attempts to land a right hook, but Corado slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Seff lands a sharp jab.  
Seff advances into close range.  Corado pivots to the left of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Seff dabs at his face checking for damage.  Seff has taken some damage there.  That has caused a nasty cut in the corner of the right eye.  .  
Corado pivots from in front of his opponent.  Seff is on target with a right hook to Corado's body.  Seff holds on to his opponent.  Seff is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Seff walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Seff throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Seff clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Seff's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Seff is on target with a cross.  
Seff lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Seff lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Seff digs in a stinging right uppercut to Corado's body.  
Seff sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to Corado's body.  
Corado hits home with a firm left hook.  
Seff tries to land a left uppercut, but Corado blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Seff's body.  
Seff lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Seff quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and whips in a mean left uppercut to Corado's ribs.  CORADO IS HURT!  Corado almost instantly recovers. 
Seff walks his opponent into a corner.  Seff lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Corado tries to land a right hook, but Seff slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Corado quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Seff hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Seff forces Corado to back into the corner.  Seff quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Seff lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Corado pivots to the right of his opponent.  Seff lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Corado's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Corado's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

It looks like Corado has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
