Xavier Diaz vs Billy Owello

Boxing Daily Report from the Western Promotions promoted show at Western Gym International, Liverpool,  taking place on 20/05/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xavier Diaz (5(2) - 0) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Billy Owello(5 - 11(2) - 3) from Norwich, UK.  Diaz weighed in at 117 pounds and 2 ounces, while Owello weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Starratt, and the three ringside judges are Bart McPhee, Adam Ouimet and Hassan Hassan.  

Round 1: 

Diaz is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to his opponents body.
