Tino Bortone vs Rico Calzaghe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Piedmont promoted show at Biira Gym, Turin,  taking place on 25/05/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Piedmont Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tino Bortone (29(7) - 15(1) - 1) who hails from Turin, Italy and Rico Calzaghe(6 - 12(1) - 2) from Turin, Italy.  Bortone weighed in at 112 pounds And 9 ounces, while Calzaghe weighed in at 111 pounds.    As Bortone came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Beccalossi, and the three ringside judges are Gianluigi Guttuso, Augusto Rizzo and Fillipo Basile.  

Round 1: 

Calzaghe closes the distance.  Bortone lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Calzaghe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bortone lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Calzaghe throws a left uppercut, but Bortone ties up his opponent.  Bortone is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Calzaghe attempts to land a left hook, but Bortone sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Bortone lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Bortone lands a left hook.  
Calzaghe hits home with a cross.  
Bortone is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Calzaghe in a corner.  Bortone lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bortone lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Calzaghe dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bortone closes the distance.  Bortone pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Calzaghe's ribs.

Calzaghe throws a left hook, but Bortone clinches his opponent.  Calzaghe tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bortone behind the head.

Bortone gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Bortone pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Calzaghe is looking to close the distance.  Bortone lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Bortone lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Bortone holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Bortone pushes his forearm into Calzaghe's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Calzaghe tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bortone dabs at his face checking for damage.
