Paul Castaneda vs Leighton Ribucan

Boxing Daily Report from the Run Forficula promoted show at HCDC Gym, Davao City,  taking place on 30/05/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Castaneda (12 - 1) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Leighton Ribucan(14 - 9 - 5) from Antipolo, Philippines.  Both Castaneda and Ribucan weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ricardo Gordon, and the three ringside judges are Ben Dulay, Charles Cabanatan and Angel Booc.  

Round 1: 

Ribucan is looking to close the distance.  Castaneda lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  Castaneda ties up his opponent.  Ribucan hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ribucan to stop fouling.  
Ribucan throws a left hook, but Castaneda ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Castaneda pushes his forearm into Ribucan's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Castaneda lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Ribucan steps inside and manages to force Castaneda onto the ropes.  Ribucan throws a right uppercut, but Castaneda ties up his opponent.  Castaneda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Castaneda.  
Ribucan lands a left hook.  
Ribucan pivots to the right of his opponent.  Castaneda lands two jabs followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ribucan steps inside.  Castaneda lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Castaneda ties up his opponent.  Castaneda hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Castaneda and breaks the clinch.
