Kamran Zamani vs Paul Shekoni

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas,  taking place on 10/06/2041:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a tournament fight from Casino's Wild.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are iQ Kamran Zamani (36(20) - 3(2) - 2 - 1(NC)) who hails from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Paul Shekoni(10 - 1) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Zamani and Shekoni weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bilal Firman, and the three ringside judges are Rob McFarlane, John Quirke and Neil Rhees.  

Round 1: 

Zamani lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Zamani is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Zamani lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  Zamani clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Zamani pushes his forearm into Shekoni's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Zamani.  
Zamani throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Zamani holds on to his opponent.  Zamani leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Zamani uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Shekoni behind the head. The referee warns Zamani and breaks the clinch.  
Zamani forces Shekoni to back into the red corner.  Zamani digs in a telling right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE SHEKONI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Zamani ties up his opponent.  Zamani leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Zamani's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
The right shot from Zamani could be enough to force the stoppage!  Zamani lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND DROPS SHEKONI!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Shekoni now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Zamani lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zamani gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zamani lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Zamani feints a left, and then is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Zamani closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Zamani holds on to his opponent.  Zamani is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Zamani is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Zamani advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Zamani walks Shekoni down, trapping him in the corner.  Zamani is on target with a right hook to Shekoni's body.  
Zamani lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Zamani lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zamani lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Shekoni almost instantly gets his legs back.

Zamani closes the distance and lands a mean right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE SHEKONI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Zamani clinches his opponent.  Zamani tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shekoni behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Zamani about fouling.  Shekoni recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Zamani closes the distance.  Zamani sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zamani lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Zamani ties up his opponent.  Zamani leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Zamani's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Zamani lands a left uppercut.  
Zamani hits home with a cross.  
Shekoni steps away from his opponent.  Zamani sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shekoni's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Shekoni's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Shekoni's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Zamani lands with a sharp jab.  
Zamani is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Zamani attempts to land a right hook, but Shekoni blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  Shekoni recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Zamani closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS SHEKONI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Zamani sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Zamani lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KNOCKS SHEKONI DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Shekoni now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Zamani lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Zamani lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Shekoni attempts to land a cross, but Zamani slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.
