Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Gimnasio Las Palma, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 27/05/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Honduras Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Desiderio Carreno (11(6) - 3) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Cuba Arbelaez(23(2) - 4(2) - 2) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Both Carreno and Arbelaez weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gonzalo Balasco, and the three ringside judges are Gonzalo Balasco, Vicente Mieras and Rio Cruce.  

Round 1: 

Arbelaez drives a cross into Carreno's body.  
Carreno lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Arbelaez pivots to the left of his opponent.  Carreno crashes a mean right hook to Arbelaez's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE ARBELAEZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Carreno is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Carreno knows Arbelaez is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Carreno lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS ARBELAEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Carreno whips in a big right uppercut to his opponents body.  ARBELAEZ HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Arbelaez has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Arbelaez manages to force Carreno into a corner.  Arbelaez sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Carreno lands a hard jab.  
Arbelaez lands with a ramrod jab.  Arbelaez attempts to land a cross, but Carreno parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Arbelaez gets on the inside.  Carreno is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Carreno tries to step out of his opponents range.  Carreno sidesteps to the right of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Carreno digs in a stinging left hook to Arbelaez's ribs.  
Carreno is on target with an overhand left.  
Carreno switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND ARBELAEZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Carreno!
