Nao Fujikawa vs Dai Mita

Boxing Daily Report from the Panyin Promotions promoted show at Kitakyushu Jo, Kitakyushu,  taking place on 28/05/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nao Fujikawa (11 - 9 - 3) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Dai Mita(10 - 9 - 2) from Kitakyushu, Japan.  Fujikawa weighed in at 200 pounds, while Mita weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mikio Iwasaki, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Iwasaki, Daichi Okabe and Satoshi Shinsato.  

Round 1: 

Mita forces Fujikawa to retreat into the corner.  Fujikawa is on target with a jab.  
Mita sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Fujikawa lands a jab.  
Fujikawa lands a cross.  
Fujikawa hits home with an overhand left.

Mita walks Fujikawa down, trapping him in the corner.  Mita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Mita gets on the inside.  Mita pivots to the side of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fujikawa dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fujikawa's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mita's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mita's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Fujikawa has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
