Angel Malagon vs Frasier Hugo

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 20/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Destroying Angel Malagon (37(31) - 1) who hails from Coral Springs, USA and Frasier Hugo(13 - 2(1)) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Malagon and Hugo weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Mein, and the three ringside judges are Blake Green, Stuart Purcell and Adam Moreno.  

Round 1: 

Hugo lands a jab.  
Hugo is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Malagon steps away from his opponent.  Hugo is on target with a hard jab.  
Hugo steps inside.  Hugo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Malagon is on target with a solid right hook to Hugo's ribs.  
Malagon lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hugo almost instantly recovers. 
Hugo steps inside and drives a left hook into Malagon's body.  
Malagon is on target with a solid cross to his opponents body.  
Malagon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hugo advances into close range.  Malagon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hugo tries to land a right hook, but Malagon sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut to Hugo's body.  
Hugo steps inside.  Malagon digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Hugo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Hugo lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Malagon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Malagon tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hugo quickly recovers. 
Malagon lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hugo tries to land a jab, but Malagon blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Hugo closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Hugo lands a left hook.  Hugo tries to land a right hook, but Malagon sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Hugo's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE HUGO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Hugo quickly recovers. 
Malagon is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land an overhand left, but Hugo slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hugo steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hugo tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Hugo lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Malagon steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Malagon is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Hugo closes the distance.  Malagon pivots to the right of his opponent and slams a spiteful left hook into Hugo's ribs.  HUGO IS HURT!  Hugo almost instantly recovers. 
Malagon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Hugo lands an overhand right.  
Hugo closes the distance and walks Malagon down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hugo lands a right hook.  
Malagon lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Hugo steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Hugo advances into close range and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a HUGE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE HUGO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Hugo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Hugo lands a right hook.  
Malagon hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Malagon feints a right, and then is on target with a jab.  
Hugo strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Hugo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Malagon throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Malagon is on target with a stinging cross.  
Hugo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Hugo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Malagon senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Malagon connects with a FEARSOME right hook.  HUGO IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Malagon DETONATES a SAVAGE right hook on his opponents face.  DOWN GOES HUGO!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Malagon connects with a WICKED left uppercut.  HUGO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Malagon!
