Neron Merida vs Venacio Galan

Boxing Daily Report from the Mugyenyi Promotions promoted show at Isidro Bustillo Gym, Reynosa,  taking place on 30/05/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neron Merida (8 - 28(2) - 5) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Venacio Galan(10(3) - 2) from Reynosa, Mexico.  Both Merida and Galan weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Flores, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Rebolledo, Agapetus Llorente and Francisco Rigor.  

Round 1:

Frustration is reaching boiling point for Merida now.   He catches his opponent with what looks like an intentional butt!  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  The ref halts the action and sends Galan to the neutral corner...he waves his arms and signals that Merida will be disqualified!
