Justin Burgess vs Ian Denoon

Boxing Daily Report from the Greedy Promotions promoted show at Hank McCamish Pavilion, Atlanta,  taking place on 08/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Justin Burgess (8(5) - 0) who hails from Augusta, USA and Ian Denoon(15 - 12(2) - 1) from Denver, USA.  Burgess weighed in at 175 pounds, while Denoon weighed in at 174 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Lou, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Rodgers, Jacob Quigley and Harry Baisley.  

Round 1: 

Burgess gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Burgess holds on to his opponent.  Burgess pushes his forearm into Denoon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Burgess.

Denoon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Burgess lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Burgess digs in a firm right uppercut to Denoon's ribcage.  Burgess holds on to his opponent.  Burgess leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Burgess lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Burgess clinches his opponent.  Burgess leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Burgess lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Burgess holds on to his opponent. Burgess steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Burgess clinches his opponent.  Burgess leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Burgess cuts off the ring, trapping Denoon on the ropes.  Burgess lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Burgess is on target with a left hook.  Burgess clinches his opponent.  Burgess leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Burgess's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Burgess lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Denoon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Burgess lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Burgess advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Burgess is looking to force the stoppage!  Burgess is on target with a FEROCIOUS left hook.  DENOON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Denoon now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Burgess lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Burgess forces Denoon to retreat into a neutral corner.  Burgess lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Burgess gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Denoon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Denoon's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Denoon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Denoon.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Burgess digs in a firm left hook to Denoon's ribs.

Burgess lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Denoon quickly recovers.

Denoon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Burgess feints a jab, fooling Denoon into throwing a left hook counter.  Burgess springs the trap, countering with  a cross.  
Burgess gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Denoon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Denoon throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Burgess holds on to his opponent.  Burgess leans on his opponent using all his weight. Burgess is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Burgess's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
