Jack Bird vs George Thomson

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami,  taking place on 07/06/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jack Bird (4(1) - 0) who hails from Calgary, Canada and George Thomson(1 - 2) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Bird and Thomson weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Buendia, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Trevino, Cody Bremner and Vince Wood.
