Farhan Soomro vs Chris Hanen

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at MetLife Stadium, Jersey City,  taking place on 29/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Farhan Soomro (6(3) - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Chris Hanen(15(2) - 3(2) - 1) from Atlanta, USA.  Both Soomro and Hanen weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Dalton, and the three ringside judges are Cody Normand, Jamie Loudon and Mark Maguire.  

Round 1: 

Soomro lands a cross.  
Soomro lands a stiff jab.  
Soomro feints a right hook, and then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Soomro gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Soomro holds on to his opponent.  Soomro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Soomro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hanen lands with a sharp jab.  
Hanen drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Hanen waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Soomro lands a solid cross.  
Soomro gets on the inside.  Hanen connects with a stinging right hook.  
Soomro digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Soomro lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Soomro ties up his opponent.  Soomro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Soomro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Hanen quickly recovers. 
Hanen throws a left hook, but Soomro clinches his opponent.  Soomro uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hanen's kidney. The ref breaks Soomro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hanen feints a left hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Soomro is looking to close the distance.  Soomro pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hanen digs in a left uppercut to Soomro's liver.  
Soomro lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Soomro advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Soomro holds on to his opponent.  Soomro pushes his forearm into Hanen's face.  The referee warns Soomro and breaks the clinch.  
Soomro hits home with a right uppercut.  
Hanen tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Soomro sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Soomro drives a solid left uppercut into Hanen's body.  
Soomro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Soomro pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hanen digs in a firm left hook to Soomro's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hanen's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Hanen's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Soomro sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND HANEN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Soomro!
