Billy Sharper vs Michael Weale

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-North Carolina promoted show at Charlotte Craig, Charlotte,  taking place on 05/06/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy Sharper (5 - 19(2) - 2) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Michael Weale(4 - 6 - 3) from Durham, USA.  Both Sharper and Weale weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Bainum, and the three ringside judges are Dave Lowder, Danny Egerton and Jack Cameron.

Weale gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Sharper digs in a left uppercut to Weale's body.

Weale sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Weale pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Weale connects with a left hook.

Weale gets on the inside and walks Sharper down, trapping him in the corner.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sharper dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sharper sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Weale tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Sharper pivots to the right of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Weale has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  We are going to the scorecards.
