Sierra Simeon vs Xaver Vera

Boxing Daily Report from the Sowah Promotions promoted show at Maracaibo Pantano, Maracaibo,  taking place on 06/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela-Zulia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Simeon (16 - 13(1) - 6) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Xaver Vera(21 - 11 - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Simeon and Vera weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Felippe Martinez, and the three ringside judges are Noe Santoyo, Esteban Maldonado and Santiago Estrella.  

Round 1: 

Vera finds the target with a jab.  
Simeon closes the distance.  Vera connects with a left hook.  
Vera lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Simeon attempts to land a cross, but Vera slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Simeon gets on the inside.  Vera sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Simeon throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Simeon tries to keep the action at long range.  Vera connects with a cross.  
Vera finds the target with a jab.
