Saad Ghannam vs Jake McBride

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Boxing Federation promoted show at Brisbane McCarthy, Brisbane,  taking place on 14/06/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saad Ghannam (7(2) - 9(1)) who hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia and Jake McBride(12 - 7(4) - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Ghannam weighed in at 108 pounds, while McBride weighed in at 107 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Cacciari, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Omans, Mark Elgin and Mark Elgin.  

Round 1: 

Ghannam steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Ghannam ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ghannam pushes his forearm into McBride's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ghannam.  
Ghannam is looking to close the distance and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Ghannam drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Ghannam gets on the inside.  Ghannam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

McBride wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ghannam has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
McBride steps to the outside.  Ghannam lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.
