Leeroy Poku vs Phornello Kwakye

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Omane, Kumasi,  taking place on 23/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leeroy Poku (8 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Phornello Kwakye(3 - 17(1) - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Poku and Kwakye weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Abood, and the three ringside judges are Amon Amartey, Otieno Adomah and James Ampomah.  

Round 1: 

Kwakye manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kwakye pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Poku's ribs.  
Poku drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Kwakye lands a jab.  
Kwakye is on target with a left uppercut.  Kwakye attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Poku's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Poku connects with an overhand right.  
Kwakye lands a cross.  
Kwakye throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kwakye connects with a right uppercut.  
Kwakye closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.
