Michael Cart vs David Owens

Boxing Daily Report from the L2LBoxingPromotions promoted show at Terry Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 22/06/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Wales Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Cart (6 - 4(2)) who hails from Cardiff, UK and David Owens(3 - 10 - 2) from Swansea, UK.  Cart weighed in at 130 pounds, while Owens weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Birney, Inigo Rury and Mark MacNevin.  

Round 1:

Cart walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Cart lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Cart gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Owens tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but Cart sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook to Owens's body.
