Carlos Platero vs Paul Belen

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Casino Miami Jai Alai, Miami,  taking place on 13/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Carlos Platero (5 - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Paul Belen(2 - 9 - 2) from Dallas, USA.  Platero weighed in at 118 pounds, while Belen weighed in at 117 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Guerra, and the three ringside judges are Mark Swain, Charles Griffiths and Fraser Vail.  

Round 1: 

Platero drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Belen throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.
