Stuart Walker vs Mark Banks

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Bournemouth International Centre, Bournemouth,  taking place on 13/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stuart Walker (13(3) - 0) who hails from Peterborough, UK and Mark Banks(11 - 10(5) - 1) from Middlesbrough, UK.  Both Walker and Banks weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Kavanagh, and the three ringside judges are Cole Beirne, Mark Belvin and Martin MacWilliams.  

Round 1: 

Walker gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.

The referee breaks the clinch and warns Walker to stop fouling.  Walker tries to land a right hook, but Banks slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Walker sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Walker steps inside and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Walker attempts to land a left uppercut, but Banks blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Banks throws a left uppercut, but Walker clinches his opponent.  Walker leans on his opponent using all his weight. Walker tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Banks's kidney. The ref breaks Walker's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Walker manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Walker pivots to the side of his opponent.  Banks throws a left hook, but Walker holds on to his opponent.  Walker leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Walker lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Walker lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Walker ties up his opponent.  Walker leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Banks tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Walker dabs at his face checking for damage.

Walker is on target with a firm right uppercut.  Walker clinches his opponent.  Walker leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Banks pivots to the left of his opponent.  Walker lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Banks's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Banks's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
