Felix Wood vs Henry Espy

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Sun Life Stadium, Miami,  taking place on 15/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Felix Chop Chop Wood (2(2) - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Henry Espy(10 - 18(1) - 5) from Memphis, USA.  Both Wood and Espy weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Carias, and the three ringside judges are John Cook, James Sutherland and Elliot Balderas.  

Round 1: 

Wood closes the distance and digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Wood ties up his opponent.  Wood pushes his forearm into Espy's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wood lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Wood clinches his opponent.  Wood leans on his opponent using all his weight. Wood is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Wood's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wood walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Wood lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wood gets on the inside.  Espy pivots to the left of his opponent.  Espy throws a left uppercut, but Wood clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Wood pushes his forearm into Espy's face.  The referee warns Wood and breaks the clinch.  
Wood drives a left hook into Espy's body.  
Wood walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Wood digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Wood clinches his opponent.  Wood is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Wood pushes his forearm into Espy's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wood lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Wood sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Espy's ribcage.  
Wood lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Wood closes the distance and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Espy steps to the outside.  Wood lands with a sharp jab.  
Espy tries to keep the action at long range.  Wood lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Wood is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Espy steps away from his opponent.  Wood finds the target with a jab.  
Wood steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Wood hits home with a cross.  
Wood gets on the inside.  Wood quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
It looks like Espy has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Espy lands a right uppercut.  
Wood steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wood closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wood is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Espy's body.  
Espy switches the action to the outside.  Wood connects with a VICIOUS overhand left.  ESPY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Espy quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Espy's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Espy's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Wood digs in a left uppercut to Espy's body.  
Wood digs in a right hook to Espy's body.  
Wood lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Espy almost instantly recovers.

Wood senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Wood slams a spiteful left hook into Espy's body.  ESPY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
It looks like Espy has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Wood lands a left hook.  
Wood is looking to close the distance.  Espy pivots to the right of his opponent.  Wood lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Wood senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Espy and just needs the right shot.  Wood whips in a mean right uppercut to his opponents body.  ESPY IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Wood gets on the inside.  Wood lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND ESPY IS DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Espy can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Wood!
