Ryo Fujii vs Hikaru Saiki

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Keiichi Baba Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 26/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryo Fujii (14 - 21(2) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hikaru Saiki(7 - 19 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Fujii and Saiki weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Okimoto, and the three ringside judges are Michi Uyehara, Hajime Kubota and Kazuki Mochizuki.  

Round 1: 

Fujii tries to keep the action at long range.  Saiki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Fujii lands a jab.  
Saiki advances into close range.  Fujii hits home with a left uppercut.  
Fujii pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.

Fujii wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Saiki dabs at his face checking for damage.
