Dom Humphries vs Peter Cormack

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Promotions promoted show at Noel Albany Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 30/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dom Humphries (7 - 6(2) - 3) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Peter Cormack(9 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Humphries weighed in at 153 pounds and 9 ounces, while Cormack weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Denton Rattray, and the three ringside judges are Max Lewis, Oliver Murray and Gareth Page.  

Round 1: 

Cormack advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Cormack lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cormack walks Humphries onto the ropes.  Cormack connects with a sharp right hook.

Cormack steps inside and forces Humphries to retreat into the corner.  Cormack lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cormack is on target with a solid left hook.  
Cormack closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Cormack lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.
