Ellis Kanama vs Kendis Sowah

Boxing Daily Report from the Eghenyan Promotions promoted show at Wilfried Bekker Gym, iBhayi,  taking place on 01/07/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Eastern Cape Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Kanama (5 - 4(1)) who hails from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Kendis Sowah(2 - 1) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Kanama weighed in at 122 pounds And 14 ounces, while Sowah weighed in at 122 pounds.    As Kanama came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Nyauza, and the three ringside judges are Chris Matata, Dele Hlatshwayo and Arnie Verster.  

Round 1: 

Sowah gets on the inside.  Kanama pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kanama throws a right hook, but Sowah holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Sowah pushes his forearm into Kanama's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sowah hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Sowah is on target with a stinging left hook to Kanama's body.  
Sowah closes the distance and forces Kanama to retreat into a corner.  Sowah lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sowah lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sowah is on target with a right hook.  
Sowah walks his opponent into a corner.  Sowah sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.

Sowah gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Sowah clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Sowah pushes his forearm into Kanama's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Sowah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.

Sowah steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Sowah is on target with a right hook.

Sowah lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS KANAMA DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Sowah!
