Rob Jack vs Santiago Madero

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at University Arena, Limerick,  taking place on 19/06/2041:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rob Jack (0 - 0) who hails from Halifax, Canada and Santiago Madero(8 - 12 - 3) from Floridablanca, Colombia.  Jack weighed in at 140 pounds, while Madero weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Evan Mohan, and the three ringside judges are Evan Coghlan, Carl Kelly and Sam Brody.  

Round 1: 

Madero advances into close range.  Jack lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Jack ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Madero pushes his forearm into Jack's face.  The ref breaks Jack's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Jack steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Madero closes the distance.  Jack throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Jack holds on to his opponent.  Jack is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Jack pushes his forearm into Madero's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Jack circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Madero throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Madero advances into close range and forces Jack to back into the ropes.  Jack lands a solid right uppercut.  
Madero pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Jack tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Madero pivots to the left of his opponent.  Madero throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Jack switches the action to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Jack lands a right hook.  
Jack hits home with a stinging jab.  
Madero closes the distance.  Jack connects with a firm left hook.  
Jack steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Madero gets on the inside and walks Jack onto the ropes.  Jack lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Madero advances into close range.  Jack lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Jack lands with a spiteful jab.  
Jack tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  Jack attempts to land a jab, but Madero sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Jack's ribs.  
Jack lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Madero steps inside.  Jack lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Jack clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jack pushes his forearm into Madero's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Jack senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Madero and just needs the right shot.  Jack is on target with a weighty left uppercut to Madero's body.  MADERO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  Madero now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
