Dave Dempsey vs Lloyd Murdock

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Dan Hilson Gym, Rockford,  taking place on 04/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Dempsey (3 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Chicago, USA and Lloyd Murdock(32(1) - 11(2) - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Both Dempsey and Murdock weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wayne Gregor, and the three ringside judges are Will Cockburn, Hugh Riach and Alen Valentine.  

Round 1: 

Murdock walks Dempsey down, trapping him in the corner.  Murdock lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
