Josh Elias vs Chris Alan

Boxing Daily Report from the Eddie Burns promoted show at Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Diego,  taking place on 06/07/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Pacific Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Josh Elias (15 - 4 - 2) who hails from San Diego, USA and Chris Alan(23(8) - 5) from Portland, USA.  Elias weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Alan weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Powell, and the three ringside judges are Ian Woodhead, Oscar Hall and Ricky Kinnon.  

Round 1: 

Alan advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Elias in a corner.  Alan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a firm right hook.  
Elias hits home with an overhand left.  
Alan gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Alan pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
