Konstantin Gura vs Afanas Borys

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Minsk Shilkov, Minsk,  taking place on 29/06/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are KING KONG Konstantin Gura (6(4) - 0) who hails from Minsk, Belarus and Afanas Borys(12 - 14(4)) from Vitebsk, Belarus.  Both Gura and Borys weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Borysko Bilinski, and the three ringside judges are Yevhen Stepaniak, Kolzak Dudek and Dmytro Umansky.  

Round 1: 

Gura lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Borys tries to step out of his opponents range.  Gura is on target with a jab to Borys's body.  
Gura is looking to close the distance.  Borys attempts to land a left hook, but Gura sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Gura pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Gura knows Borys is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Gura lands a cross, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  Borys now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Gura is looking to close the distance.  Borys throws a left hook, but Gura ties up his opponent.  Gura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gura.  
Borys steps to the outside.  Gura sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross to his opponents body.  
Gura closes the distance and forces Borys to retreat onto the ropes.  Gura lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Gura pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gura lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Gura ties up his opponent.  Gura leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Borys is on target with a jab.  
Gura pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gura is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  Gura ties up his opponent.  Gura is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gura pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gura manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Gura pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Gura lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Borys now seems to have his senses back.  
Gura crashes a big right hook to Borys's body.  BORYS IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Gura clinches his opponent.  Gura tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Borys behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gura about fouling.  
Gura lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Borys is looking to keep his distance.  Gura lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Borys cuts off the ring, trapping Gura on the ropes.  Borys attempts to land a right uppercut, but Gura sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Borys tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Gura pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Gura digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Gura connects with a cross.  
Gura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Borys's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Borys's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Borys's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Gura lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Borys is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gura drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Borys attempts to land a jab, but Gura dodges the shot and counters with a telling right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE BORYS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Gura advances into close range.  Gura is looking to force the stoppage!  Gura SLAMS a FIERCE left hook into his opponents face.  BORYS IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT BORYS CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Gura!
