Boxing Daily Report from the Greedy Promotions promoted show at Kress Events Center, Green Bay,  taking place on 13/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sid Phillips (8(5) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Phil Hearn(6 - 2 - 2) from New York City, USA.  Both Phillips and Hearn weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Griffith, and the three ringside judges are John Peart, Vincent Elias and Michael Yeamans.  

Round 1: 

Phillips lands a cross.  
Phillips feints a jab, fooling Hearn into launching a cross counter.  Phillips springs the trap, countering with  a firm right uppercut.

Phillips feints a cross, tricking Hearn into launching a cross counter.  Phillips springs the trap and counters with  a stinging cross.  
Hearn pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hearn attempts to land a left uppercut, but Phillips sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Hearn's liver.  
Phillips steps away from his opponent and hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Hearn is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Phillips hits home with a stinging cross.  
Phillips throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Phillips drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Phillips steps to the outside and connects with a solid cross.  Phillips throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Phillips lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hearn recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Phillips quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hearn's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Hearn's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Hearn's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Phillips pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hearn tries to land a cross, but Phillips slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Phillips drives a jab into Hearn's body.  
Hearn is looking to close the distance.  Phillips quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hearn throws a left hook, but Phillips ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Phillips pushes his forearm into Hearn's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Phillips to stop fouling.  
Phillips feints a left hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  Phillips attempts to land a jab, but Hearn slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Phillips quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hearn drives a left uppercut into Phillips's ribs.  Hearn attempts to land a left hook, but Phillips slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Phillips steps to the outside.  Phillips sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Hearn quickly recovers. 
Phillips lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Phillips steps away from his opponent.  Phillips sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Phillips lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Phillips snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Phillips finds the target with a solid jab.  
Phillips lands a jab followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Phillips switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two overhand lefts to his opponents head.

Phillips is on target with a FIERCE overhand right.  HEARN IS HURT!  Hearn almost instantly gets his legs back.

Hearn pivots to the right of his opponent.  Phillips connects with a mean cross.  HEARN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Phillips is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Phillips feints a left, and then tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Phillips sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Phillips steps away from his opponent.  Phillips feints a left, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Phillips thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Hearn away.  Phillips connects with a FEARSOME left uppercut.  HEARN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Phillips!
