Dante Grifone vs Edmondo Battaglia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Veneto promoted show at Venice Urso, Venice,  taking place on 10/07/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Veneto Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dante Grifone (4 - 8(1) - 4) who hails from Padua, Italy and Edmondo Battaglia(7 - 11 - 4) from Venice, Italy.  Both Grifone and Battaglia weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gabriele Mauri, and the three ringside judges are Rodolfo Fumagalli, Alessandro Pizzorno and Valentino Fausto.  

Round 1: 

Battaglia tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Battaglia steps inside and manouvers Grifone into the blue corner.  Grifone throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Battaglia hits home with a cross.  
Battaglia closes the distance and manages to force Grifone into the red corner.  Battaglia digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Battaglia hits home with a right hook.  
Grifone steps inside and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Grifone digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Battaglia advances into close range.  Battaglia pivots to the right of his opponent.  Battaglia throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Grifone's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
