Jasper Batton vs Gerald Mekongo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Nord promoted show at Garoua Ngaham, Garoua,  taking place on 13/07/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jasper Batton (11(1) - 0) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Gerald Mekongo(43(21) - 9(3) - 1) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Both Batton and Mekongo weighed in at 200 pounds.
