Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Derby Arena, Derby,  taking place on 10/08/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sigifrith Peller (14(13) - 0) who hails from Berlin, Germany and Shamus Carey(5(1) - 4 - 2) from Galway, Ireland.  Both Peller and Carey weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Keefe, and the three ringside judges are Ibrahim Mohammad, Harvey McIver and Sam Henry.  

Round 1: 

Peller lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Peller gets on the inside.  Carey pivots to the side of his opponent.  Peller lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Peller holds on to his opponent.  Peller leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Peller's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Peller lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Peller holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Peller pushes his forearm into Carey's face.  The ref breaks Peller's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Peller walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Carey throws a left hook, but Peller holds on to his opponent.  Peller is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Peller.  
Peller digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Peller lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Peller steps inside.  Carey pivots to the side of his opponent.  Carey throws a right hook, but Peller ties up his opponent.  Peller leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Peller's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Peller lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the body and a jab to the head.  
Carey steps away from his opponent.  Peller feints a left hook, and then lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Peller advances into close range and digs in a sharp left hook to Carey's body.  
Peller lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Peller clinches his opponent.  Peller leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Peller manages to force Carey onto the ropes.  Peller quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Peller dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Peller lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING CAREY TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Some sustained pressure from Peller could be enough to finish Carey!  Peller lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS CAREY DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Carey now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Peller closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Carey recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Peller lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Peller lands a hard jab.  
Peller is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm right hook to Carey's ribs.  Peller ties up his opponent.  Peller is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Peller DETONATES a FEROCIOUS right hook on his opponents face.  CAREY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Peller ties up his opponent.  Peller leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
The right shot from Peller could be enough to force the stoppage!  Peller lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS CAREY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Peller lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CAREY DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Peller!
